Hollenbach Leads Construction of SARS New Headquarters

Whitpain Township, PA, October 8, 2013

Hollenbach Construction, Inc. is leading the construction of the Second Alarmer’s Association and Rescue Squad (SARS) headquarters building in Whitpain Township which is being built on the site of the Whitpain Township municipal complex.

Glenn Ebersole, Strategic Vice President, Business Development and Marketing, said, “We are very pleased to have been selected as the General Contractor and to lead the construction of this long awaited project for SARS. They have been serving Whitpain Township residents from temporary construction trailers on the Township grounds since 2007.” The cost of the construction project is approximately $1.4 million and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Since its founding in 1938, Second Alarmer’s Association and Rescue Squad of Montgomery County, Incorporated has grown to become one of the largest private not-for-profit pre-hospital Emergency Medical Service provider in the region, responding to over 12,000 emergency incidents each year. SARS is a combination department composed of 100 volunteer and 123 career members, delivering services from five stations with 20 vehicles, including twelve advanced life support ambulances.
